For the Love of Black Culture: Celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the NMBCC
From its inception in 1969 to the present, the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center at Indiana University (affectionately known as “The House” during the early years) has served as a valuable resource and sacred space for Black students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Join us in celebrating the Center’s impact and enduring legacy with an evening of arts and culture during Homecoming weekend. Tickets are $20 for students, $30 for non-students, and $255 for a table of ten. Your ticket includes a vibrant experience complete with a meal, entertainment, and interactive elements that invite you to share your love for the Black culture center through reflections and storytelling. Come dressed in your finest cocktail party threads in shades of emerald, gold, cream, and black! Doors open at 6 pm.
